How to lock a floder without using any Software in windows Xp

just few steps away.........

 

 

Step 1  :  Create a Folder in C drive rename it as "abc" without quotes.

Step 2 : Then open Command Prompt from Start Menu.

Step 3 : Type "attrib +s +h C:\abc" without quotes and press enter.

Step 4 : It will Make your folder invisble and it can not be seen even in hidden files and folders.

Step 5 : If u want to make it visible again type "attrib -s -h C:\abc" .

Step 6 : if you want to  lock any other folder also by changing the location C:\abc to address of your folder.
